Meet Our Staff

Steve Miles

Steve is a native of Denver, Colorado where he graduated from Jefferson High School. He received his Bachelor of Science Degree from Midland Lutheran College in 1970 and his Masters of Science Degree in 1975 from the University of Nebraska at Omaha. He taught school for 38 ½ years until his retirement in 2006. He is actively involved in many Grand Island community organizations and is a member of Messiah Lutheran Church. Steve’s experience in funeral service dates back to when he worked for Bader -Rozanek Funeral Home in Fremont, Nebraska during his college days at Midland. He and his wife Vernelle have two grown sons and twin granddaughters.
