Obituary for Virginia Boswell
Virginia F. (Kosinski) Boswell, 87, of Grand Island, NE, peacefully died Wednesday, January 27, 2021 at Azria Health Broadwell.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 AM Monday, February 1, 2021 at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Grand Island with The Reverend Martin Egging officiating. Burial will be at Roselawn Memorial Cemetery in Columbus, NE. Visitation will be one hour prior to service, with Vigil Rosary beginning at 9:30 AM. CDC guidelines will be followed and masks will be required.
Virginia was born November 12, 1933 in Greeley, NE to Frank and Dorothy (Smollen) Kosinski. She married Dutch Boswell, the love of her life, February 2, 1956 in David City, NE. Dutch and Virginia made their home in Columbus, NE. Virginia was a homemaker and took care of her elderly family members.Dutch died May 27, 1982 and she moved to Grand Island, NE. Virginia worked in many hotels in the laundry department.
Virginia was a member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church.
Virginia is survived by her brother, Richard and Maryann Kosinski; sister, Barbara Bosak of Grand Island; sister in law, Lorraine Kosinski; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Dutch; parents, Frank and Dorothy Kosinski; brothers, Don, Ed; sister, Leona Miller; brother in laws, Larry Bosak, John Miller; niece, Amanda Bosak; and nephew, Richard Miller.
