While growing up in Grand Island, Anne was an active member of the Saddle Club and became an accomplished equestrian, winning many competitive events. She was also an active member of Grand Island's Friday Book Club and past member of PEO.  Anne always enjoyed seeing her friends at the Coney Island Lunch Room and Dreisbachs.  Within the Vieregg family, Anne will be remembered for her devotion and care of her mother, Virginia during the last part of Virginia's life.
