Audrey Cushing, 93, of Grand Island passed away Saturday, September 23, 2017 at CHI Health St. Francis Medical Center.

Memorial services will be 1:30 PM, Saturday October 14 at the Grand Island Veterans Chapel.

Audrey was born August 27, 1924 at Lewellen, NE to Charles E. and Nona (Tincher) Cooper. She was united in marriage to Robert Smith on March 15, 1943. She later married James Cushing on April 11, 1985.

She is survived by her son, Delmar Smith; brothers and their spouses, Earl and Diane Cooper and Wayne and Sue Cooper; son-in-law, John Rhoades; daughter-in-law, Monica Smith; 5 step-sons and their spouses; 1 step daughter-in-law; and numerous grandchildren,` great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; both husbands; daughter, Carol; son, Dale; and 3 brothers.
