Barbara Williams, 76, of Grand Island, died Saturday, January 23, 2016, at Park Place in Grand Island.

Barbara was born October 11, 1939 in Grand Island to John and Susie (Yocum) Williams. She grew up and attended school in Grand Island. She worked as a cook and waitress at Riverside Lodge.
Barbara was a quiet person, but loved to play Bingo and go to the casino. She enjoyed her yard, flowers, and birds.

She is survived by her sister: Marlene McGuan of Grand Island; brother: Charlie (Norma) Williams of Grand Island; sisters-in-law: Joanne Williams and Emma Willimans both of Grand Island; nephews: Chris Williams of TX, Bob McGuan of St. Paul, NE; great nieces: Candi Williams of Cairo, NE, and Megan Zimmer of Friend, NE.

Barbara was preceded in death by her parents; brothers: Dannie Williams, Harvey Williams, John Williams, Roger Williams; and sister: Charlotte Ash.

Barbara was cremated and the family is having a Celebration of Life Service from 5:30 -7 pm Tuesday, January 26, 2016 at Balz Reception Hall.
