Celia B. Sons, 90, of Grand Island, Nebraska died Thursday, November 14 2013 at home.
Funeral service will be held at 2:30 pm Friday, November 22, 2013 at Livingston-Sondermann Funeral Home with Pastor Bill Pavak officiating.Visitation will be Friday beginning at 11:00 am. Following the service Mrs. Sons will be cremated. Inurnment will be in Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery at a later time.
Memorials are suggested to the family for later designation.

Celia was born June 2, 1923, in Grand Island, NE to Thomas and Ella (Harders) Thomsen. She married Walter Sons in the parsonage of Kountez in Omaha by Dr. Traub on August 10, 1952.

She enjoyed many crafts, such as crocheting, sewing, needlepoint, knitting, and leather crafting, and cake making.
Survivors of the immediate family also include a son and daughter-in-law, Kenneth Allan and Mariana Sons of Evergreen, Colorado; and a daughter and son-in-law, Helen Louise and Roger Evans Fries of Plano, Texas. She is survived by two grandsons, Gregory James Adams of Lewisville, Texas, and John Ryan Adams and wife Amy Adams; and great grandson, Archer Ryan Adams of Carrollton, Texas.

Celia was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Walter on October 19, 2012; and brother, Irvin (Martin) Thomsen.
