Clayton Eugene Milner went to be with Lord on April 30, 2024 at the age of 88 years young. His family was by his bedside at St. Francis Hospital in Grand Island, Nebraska.
He was born in Hibbing, Minnesota on November 17, 1935 and graduated from Hibbing High School. Started working at the Hanna Mine and General Diesel then moving to Anaheim, California where he was at Associated Diesel and Harbor Diesel. He became a gifted Parts Manager, knowing in detail endless amount of parts and being able to find even the most needed/challenging item. After retiring, Clayton and his wife Barbara moved to Grand Island Nebraska and enjoyed 20 years in this area.
Clayton loved deeply and enjoyed spending time traveling in the motorhome with motorhome clubs, traveling the U.S. spending time with family, fur babies and friends, riding rollercoasters, watching sports of all kinds and going to Angels/Dodgers games. He always was willing to lend a helping hand and shared his sense of humor often.
Clay is survived by his: wife of 48 years Barbara Milner, son Robert (Eileen) Milner of Clinton, MS, daughter Katherine Simmons of Buena Park, CA, daughter Toni Flaherty of Phoenix, AZ, daughter Suzanne Milner of Hibbing, MN, sister Pat Stafford of Atascadero, CA,
9 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, many nephews and nieces.
Preceding him in death: parents Robert and Cecilia (Krause) Milner, sister Lucille (Mike) Schwartz, brother-in-law Frank Stafford, and brother-in-law Dan Galich
