Concepcion Alvarado was born on May 9, 1951 to Fidelina Alvarado and Antonio Aragon. She grew up in Cojutepeque, El Salvador.

In 1983, she moved to California and shortly after met her life partner, Carlos R. Fajardo. They moved to Nebraska in 1995 where she worked at JBS Swift for 16 years. She was a loving mother and grandmother and she put everyone else before herself.

Concepcion fought her battle until the very end. She always remained hopeful that she would win her fight so she could return home.

She loved gardening in her spare time and was saddened by the fact that she was not able to accomplish that this year. She will be deeply missed by many.

Concepcion Alvarado entered heaven on July 13, 2017 in Omaha at the Select Specialty Hospital.

She is survived by: her husband Carlos Fajardo, her children: Milton Alvarado, Patricia Zuniga, Harris Fajardo and Cynthia Fajardo-Alvarado, her mother: Fidelina Alvarado; siblings: Francisco Hernandez, Lilliana Davis, Moises Hernandez, and Marina Hernandez; grandchildren: Angelique Fajardo, Jasmine Rios, Jessica Rios, Melissa Perez, Anthony, David, Isaac Zuniga and four other grandchildren, and great granddaughter: Jaycie Arana.
