Cynthia "Cindy" A. Stobbe, 63, of Grand Island, died Sunday, December 21, 2014 at St. Francis Medical Center with her family by her side.
Memorial services will be at 10:30 am Monday, December 29th at Livingston-Sondermann Funeral Home. Father Jose Chavez will officiate. According to her wishes Cindy was cremated.

Cindy was born on January 30, 1951 at Ashland, Nebraska to Victor "Dick" and Nell (Stacey) Capallen. She grew up and received her education in Ravenna, graduating from Ravenna High School in 1970.
On April 23, 1971 she was united in marriage to Ted Stobbe in Grand Island. The couple made their home in Grand Island. After raising their four children she worked at Mosaic for several years, until retiring due to poor health. Cindy enjoyed watching movies, playing cards, reading, cooking, and working on crossword puzzles. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family, especially her beloved grandchildren and her four Shih Tzu dogs.
She was a member of St. Mary's Cathedral.
Cindy is survived by her husband Ted of Grand Island; a son Kevin Stobbe and Nikki Benzel of Grand Island; a daughter Danielle and her husband Chris Daake of Grand Island; a daughter Tonya and her husband Jeff Schwieger of Grand Island; 10 grandchildren, Shayla, Jaden, Austin, Jaron, Anastacia, Victor, Samantha, Bo, Emily and Aaden; a sister, Pat and her husband Ron Mallam of Kearney; and a brother Lyle Capallen.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a son, Kemper
