Edward D. Rawlings, 68, of Grand Island passed away Monday August 21, 2017 at CHI Health-St. Francis Medical Center. There will be no services at the current time.

Ed was born on December 3, 1948 to Paul and Hazel (Butterbaugh) Rawlings at Grand Island, where he grew up.

He was united in marriage to Carol Scheffler on March 31, 1968 at the United Methodist Church in Grand Island. After which the couple resided in Grand Island to raise their family.

Ed worked in construction all his life. Ed loved his family, enjoyed fishing and spending time with family, friends especially his best buddy, Bud.
He will be greatly missed by his wife Carol; daughter, Laurie (Chris) Killin; son, Steve (Laura) Rawlings; five grandchildren; and one great grandchild.

Ed is preceded in death by his parents; two brothers; and one sister.
