Helen Vipperman, 102, of Grand Island, NE passed away April 1, 2018 at Sutton, NE.

Memorial Services will be 11:00 AM Friday, April 13 at Livingston-Sondermann Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Mark Oblender officiating. Burial of ashes will be in Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery.

Helen was born on March 28, 1916 at Osmond, NE. She attended grade school in the Chapman schools and graduated from Chapman High School in 1934.

Helen worked at the Cornhusker Ordnance Plant in 1942 until the end of World War II. After that she worked for many years for Dr. Bradley Woodruff.

Helen is survived by her daughter, Sonja Pohl; Son-in-law, Eugene Pohl; Grandson, David (Jaci) Pohl; Granddaughters, Kim (Ron) McElfresh, Jodi (Roger) Buescher, Lisa (Jeff) Rippe, Great Grandchildren, Megan (Doug) Ahrens, Matthew McElfresh, Marcus Buescher, Kayleigh Buescher, Jordyn Rippe, Zachary Rippe, Dylan Pohl, and Sydney Pohl; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by mother, Laura; father, Edward Louis; step-father, Lloyd Daniels, two brothers, Louis Edward, Fred (June) Vipperman; four sisters, Edna (Ralph) Stoltenberg, Merle (Charles) Mendenhall, Evelyn (Charles) Stockdale, Mildred (Douglas) Huggard; and nieces and nephews.
