Janice Maree Bixenmann, 69 of Grand Island, peacefully passed away Saturday, December 10, 2016 at UNMC in Omaha after dealing with health problems for several years. Funeral Service will be 11:00 AM, Friday at Livingston-Sondermann Funeral Chapel with The Reverend James Golka officiating. Visitation will be Thursday, from 5-7 PM with a Rosary service beginning at 7. Burial will be in the Grand Island City Cemetery following the service.

Janice was born April 4, 1947 at Grand Island, NE to John and Clara (Foale) Bixenmann.
She graduated from St. Mary's Catholic School and worked as a residential/commercial painter and a homemaker. She was an amazing mother and grandmother who always gave without asking and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends above all else. She was truly loved and will be greatly missed.

Survivors include her three sons and five grandchildren; Douglas Stevens and his son, Orry, Daniel Stevens and his sons, Tyler and Ryan and Michael Stevens and daughters Elizabeth and Alyssa.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Clara Bixenmann; her sister, Elizabeth Ann Bixenmann; and her brother, William John Bixenmann.
