Janice E. Henrichs, 77, of Alda, NE passed away Sunday April 7, 2019.

Funeral services will be at 10:00 AM on Saturday April 13 at Livingston-Sondermann Funeral Chapel with Pastor John Hayes officiating. Visitation will take place on Friday April 12 from 5-7 PM.

Janice was born on December 10, 1941 at Elkhorn, NE to Henry and Alvina (Peterson) Benke. She grew up and attended school in Elkhorn where she also worked her first job at Boys Town as a laundry attendant.

Janice and Marvin M. Henrichs married in June 6, 1959 in Omaha, Nebraska. To this union she had four children: John Henrichs of Alda; William "Bill" Henrichs of Hastings; Vickie Friedrichsen of Grand Island; Dawn Henrichs of Alda.

Janice was an avid Denver Broncos fan, she also collected plates and enjoyed gardening.

She loved spending time with her dogs, especially Red, Jake, and Keichi.She is survived by four children; one brother; seven grandchildren; four great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Marvin; four brothers; and one sister.
