Jose Ortiz Jr., 27, of Grand Island, NE, passed away Wednesday, December 20, 2017.

Funeral Services will be 10:30 AM Tuesday, December 26, 2017 at Livingston-Sondermann Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Russel Wolf officiating. Visitation will be 8:30 to 10:30 AM two, hours prior to service time.

Jose was born on February 10, 1990 in El Paso, TX to Anabel Ronquillo and Jose Ortiz Sr. He grew up in Wood River, NE and graduated from Grand Island Senior High in 2009. He was united with sisters and mother.

He was loyal and always made you laugh. He wouldn't hesitate to give you his last dollar, he had an aura about him of protector. When you were with "Lil Joe" you were going to remember him.

Jose is survived by his mother, Anabel Ronquillo: sisters, Theresa Rocha, Jasmine Pina, Crystal Pina, Stephanie Pina; girlfriend, Alicia Holroyo, and numerous other family members of the Ortiz Family.

He was preceded in death by his father; Jose Ortiz Sr., Grandmother; Theresa Medez, and cousin Michael Ronquillo.
