Kevon Lee Jurgens, 7 months old, of Giltner, left to be in the arms of the Lord, Friday, July 24, 2015 at his home. Funeral service will be 2:00 pm Wednesday, August 5, 2015 at Trinity Lutheran Church with Pastor Jack Gillam officiating. Visitation with the family present will be from 1:00 pm until service time at the church. Burial will be in the Grand Island City Cemetery following the service

Kevon was born in Hastings on December 14, 2014. He passed due to complications of SIDS. He loved cake and chocolate ice cream. He especially enjoyed swimming and spending time watching cars go by with his grandpa. Kevon also loved watch Blaze and Pa Patrol with his brothers.
Survivors include his mother, Amanda Jurgens of Giltner; two brothers, Kylon Edwin Jurgens and Kolton James Jurgens of Giltner; grandparents, Steve Jurgens and Brenda Jurgens of Grand Island; great grandparents, Romain and Willie Jowlkowski of Grand Island and Sharon Jelinek of Amarillo, TX.
Other survivors include 4 uncles, Trapper Jurgens, Casey Jurgens, Stevo Jurgens and Nick Jurgens Dvorak all of Grand Island; and an aunt, Maggie Jurgens of Grand Island.
Kevon was loved by all that knew him and will be missed my many.
Kevon was preceded in death by his sister, Alizea Marie Jurgens; and great grandfather John Jelinek.
