LaDonna M. Vander Hamm, 85, passed away Saturday, August 18, 2018.

Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Thursday, August 23, 2018 at Livingston-Sondermann Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Adam Snoberger officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to service. Burial will be at Grand Island City Cemetery following the service.

Mrs. Vander Hamm was born at Giltner, NE to Fred and Dorthea (Breintenfeldt) Meier.

She married D. Donald Vander Hamm on July 28, 1950 at Ireton, IA. To this union four children were born: Donelle, Ross, Dian and Rahn. Mr. Vander Hamm passed away February 4, 1997.

On August 21, 2009 she joined in union with Robert L. Whited.

She is survived by her children, Donelle and Larry Valdez of Colorado Springs, CO, Ross and Karin Vander Hamm of Edmond, OK, Dian and George Ramirez of Thornton, CO, and Rahn and Janelle Vander Hamm of Hickman, NE; sister, Janet and Ralph Sackschewsky; brothers, Tom and Ardeth Meier, Jim and LeAnn Meier; brother-in-law, Lee and Betty Vander Hamm; 14 grandchildren; and 29 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and brother, Gerald Meier.
