Laurel J. Larsen, age 83, of Grand Island, passed into eternity on February 5, 2022 at her home surrounded by her loving family.

Visitation will be held Thursday, February 10, 2022 from 5-7pm at Livingston-Sondermann Funeral Home.  Funeral Service will be held Friday, February 11, 2022 at 11am at Livingston-Sondermann Funeral Home. The service will be livestreamed on the funeral home's YouTube channel https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCfhVBVRegU_3S7w9nUxfu6Q .   In lieu of flowers memorials are suggested to the family for later designation.

Laurel was born December 24, 1938 in Bismarck, ND to H. Lloyd and Elsie (House) McLean.   She grew up and attended school in Menoken and Bismarck, ND.  She was an artist by nature and business person by trade.  She was united in marriage to Willard R. Larsen on April 19, 1958 in Bismarck, ND.  They lived in North Dakota, Nevada, South Dakota and Utah before settling in Wood River, NE.  She worked a variety of jobs along with owning and operating a trucking company with her husband.  She devoted her life to her family and God.

Survived by son, Verlen (Lori) Larsen; daughter, Denise Larsen Dominguez; granddaughter, Chelsea Larsen (Carl Eaker); grandson, Caleb (Tanya) Larsen and their children, Danica and Jason; brothers, Clyde, Dennis (Judith), Robb (Angela) and Lyndon (Carol Grace) McLean; sisters, Judy Lynn Martzolf, Barbara Knutson, Myra (Doug) Vik and Carol (Billy) Fielhaber; sister in-law, Eileen McLean; brother in-law, Jerry Schmitke and many loved and cherished nieces and nephews.
