Marilyn P. Stout, age 88, of Grand Island, passed away Sunday, August 1, 2021 at Grand Island Regional Medical Center.

Funeral Service will be on Friday, August 6, 2021 at 1:30pm at Livingston-Sondermann Funeral Home with Pastor Todd Bowen officiating. The service will be live streamed on the funeral homes YouTube page.Visitation will be on Thursday, August 5, 2021 from 5-7pm at the funeral home.Burial will be at Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery.Memorials suggested to the family for later designation.

She was born on December 7, 1932 in Giltner, NE to Louis L. and Bertha P. (Williams) Helzer.She lived in Hastings until the third grade when her family moved to Grand Island.On October 26, 1952 she was united in marriage to Danford Stout in Grand Island.

She worked at various places around the Grand Island area including: Brandeis, Ordinance Plant, Jerald's Dress Shop, Uniform Shop, and McDonalds.She had many hobbies and interests like camping, riding motorcycles, baking, crafts, gardening and latch hook.

Survived by children, Marilyn (Edwin Sr.) Medbery of Grand Island, Penny (James) Aust of Lincoln, Roxie (Merle) Parsons of Grand Island, Rosemary (David) Privée of Texas and Duane (Denelle) Stout of Grand Island; 16 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild; siblings, Golda Bockbrader, Dixie (Art) Ostermeier, Marilou Baldwin, Jay (Donna) Helzer and Kathleen McCrellias and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
