Obituary

Myron R. Cassell, 29, of Grand Island died Sunday, April 17, 2011.
Myron Robert Cassell was born on August 28, 1981 in North Platte to Robert L. and Cheryl (Frisby) Cassell. Myron was a graduate of Grand Island Senior High School in 2000. Following high school he attended Central Community College in Grand Island where he received degrees in Information Technology and Business Management.  He spent his last five years working as the Parts Manager at Grand Island Trailer where he was a well-respected co-worker with a contagious sense of humor.
He was a loving father, son, brother, and friend who will be missed by all who knew him. His family and friends feels blessed to have been part of his life and will hold their precious memories of him close to their hearts as they continue to love and cherish his memories.
Myron's pride and joy in life was his lovely daughter Alana, whom he absolutely adored. He loved spending time with her and all his family and friends. He also enjoyed working on cars, especially his 1969 Chevelle, which he and his dad spent numerous hours together working on. He also loved to fish and play video games. He had a knack for working with electronics, especially computers.
He is survived by his daughter Alana Rae, his parents Bob and Cheryl Cassell of Grand Island, four sisters; Robin Ebel of Gretna, Ginger (Tony) Wallace of Edmond, OK, Mandi (Bill) Barnett of Grand Island, and Tammy (Michael) Garcia of Grand Island; his maternal Grandmother, Sadie Frisby of Fort Collins, CO; three nieces, four nephews, and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by a niece, his paternal grandparents, his maternal grandfather and two uncles.
The family will be receiving friends Thursday, April 21 from 4-8 p.m. at Livingston-Sondermann Funeral Home, 601 N Webb Rd, Grand Island, NE.  Memorial services will be on Friday, April 22nd at 10:30 a.m. at the First Presbyterian Church, 2103 W Anna St, Grand Island, NE. The Reverend Caroline Price-Gibson will officiate.
Memorials are suggested to the family to benefit his daughter, Alana.
