Nancy J. Hendricks, 67 of Grand Island, formerly of Kearney passed away Thursday, August 31 at CHI-Health Saint Francis Medical Center.

A memorial service will be 3:00 PM. Friday, September 8 at Livingston-Sondermann Funeral Chapel with The Reverend Mark Oberbeck officiating.

Memorials are suggested to the family to be designated at a later date.

She was born August 17, 1950 top Shirley and Imagene (Ball) Carpenter near Chicago, Illinois.

Nancy was united in marriage to Richard Hendricks. After Richard passed, Nancy moved to Nebraska in 1988.

She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Grand Island.

Nancy was survived by her daughter, Betty "BJ" Brown of Grand Island; four grandchildren, Selena Herrera, Braden Woodrum of Grand Island, and Angela and David Schroeder of Aurora; sister, Jo-Ann Preen; brother, Kelly Carpenter; nieces, Carol, Shirley and Sharon; and several great nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband.
