Obituary for Ferne M Noltie
Ferne M. Noltie Ferne Noltie, age 83, of Arapahoe, Nebraska passed away on Saturday, August 29, 2020 at Good Samaritan Society- C.A. Mues Nursing Home in Arapahoe.
She was the youngest of eight children, born to John and Clara (Werner) Mussman on April 4, 1937 at Norton, Kansas. She was baptized April 11, 1937 at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Norton. She was confirmed May 21, 1950 at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Oxford, Nebraska. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Arapahoe.
Ferne attended Oxford Elementary and High School, graduating with the class of 1955. She was a sales clerk at Woolworth in Hastings, Nebraska and also worked at Monfort Packing Plant in Grand Island, Nebraska.She married Kenneth Noltie on December 26, 1975 in Holdrege, Nebraska. After Kenneth passed away in June of 1988, she moved to Arapahoe.
She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; her brothers, Melvin Mussman and Harold Mussman; her sisters, Frances Debban, Helen White, Mildred Stump and Faye Osborn.
She is survived by her sister, Luella Ruff; sister-in-law, Norma Mussman; step daughter, Teresa Martin; step son, Kenneth Noltie Jr.; nieces, nephews and many other relatives and friends.
