Peggy Ann
Williams
Jan 18, 1952 — Nov 10, 2024
Peggy Ann Williams, 72, passed away Sunday, November 10, 2024 in Marian, IA.
Services will be held 10:30am Monday, November 18, 2024 at Destiny Church GI with Pastor Tim Rust officiating. Visitation will be from 4-7pm Sunday at the church. Burial will take place in the Grand Island City Cemetery.
Peggy was married to her husband Bill for 51 years. They were a power couple and the love that they had for each other was so strong. They had three children together, Richard John, Billie A. and George. Though they only had three children together they took care of all of the kids in the family and made sure to include them in whatever they were doing. They never left a child out. Some of the best memories were made with Bill and Peggy. Even when times were hard Peggy made sure to always make holidays and birthdays special. She always had the best cooked meals.
Peggy loved her red nails, sparkles and she always made sure her hair was done. She was always the one to help everyone out no matter what the circumstances were, she was there. She might have had a bit of a hard shell on the outside but was the softest on the inside. Peggy loved her family more than anything and was a very proud wife, mother, mother-in-law, grandma and great-grandma.
She is survived by her son, Richard John Williams; daughter, Billie A. Carr; grandchildren, William, Jeannie, Peggy, Tommy, Jamie, George; great-grandchildren, Charlotte Grace and Ann Margaret; sister from another mother, Rosemary and sister, Jenny Ann.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and son, George.
