Robert "Bob" L. Partaka, 67, of Grand Island, passed away December 14, 2016 in Grand Island. A Graveside Memorial Service will be 11:00 am Friday at the Grand Island City Cemetery with a Celebration of Life service from 11:30 to 1:30 pm at the Livingston-Sondermann Funeral Home Chapel Reception Room.

He was born on April 12, 1949 at St. Paul, NE to Edward and Lillian (Ewoldt) Partaka. He later made his home in Grand Island.

Bob worked as a mechanic for both the Diers Motor Company and Anderson Ford for many years. He also belonged to the Grand Island Rifle Club.

He is survived by his niece and nephews, Brian Bentzinger, Mike Partaka, and Patti Tidwell.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents; brothers and sisters, Donald Partaka and Caroline Bentzinger.
