Robert S. Roman, 63, of Grand Island, died January 2, 2021 at CHI Health St. Francis Medical Center.  He was born on July 28, 1957 at Harvey, Illinois to Rufino and Juanita Roman.

Robert and his family moved to Grand Island, Nebraska in 1960. He received his eduation from the Grand Island Public Schools.  Robert made his career with the Union Pacific Railroad.  He enjoyed watcing the Nebraska Huskers play football and had three pet Chihuahuas he loved dearly.

Memorial service will be at Livingston-Sondermann Funeral Home on Friday, January 15, 2021 at 1pm with Pastor Sean Amen officiating.  A visitation will be held one hour prior to services.  The service will be live streamed at: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCfhVBVRegU_3S7w9nUxfu6Q  Burial will be at Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery.

Robert is survived by brothers, Greg Roman, Tony (Angie) Roman and Ric Roman of Grand Island and Frank Roman of Hastings; sisters, Paula Roman of South Holland, Michigan, Damantina Ramirez and Mary Monie of Grand Island and Esther (Jesse) Jimenez of Abilene, Texas. Robert was preceded in death by parents; brother, Phillip Roman and sister Lucy Luevano and many nieces and nephews.  Condolences can be left at www.livson.com.
