Sharon K. Lammers, 75, of Grand Island. Passed away Saturday, November 4 at CHI-Health St. Francis Medical Center.

Funeral Services will be 10:30 am, Tuesday at Livingston-Sondermann Funeral Home Chapel with The Reverend Mark Oberbek officiating. Burial will be in the Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be One hour prior to service time.

She was born on April 26, 1942 at Grand Island to Lloyd and Opal (Clement) Carruth.Sharon attended school in Grand Island. She married Weert Lammers on June 25, 1982. The couple made their home in Grand Island.


Sharon was employed by the Nebraska Veterans Home for over 20 years.She enjoyed playing cards, gardening and camping while members of the camping club they belonged to.

Survivors include her husband, Weert of Grand Island; son, Rodney (Lovette) Bruer of New Towne, ND; two step-sons, Warren (Deb) Lammers of Guide Rock, NE, and Kevin Lammers of Grand Island; two daughters, Marilyn Bruer of Beatrice, NE and Carol (Rory) Allen of Pender, NE; one step-daughter, Rhonda (Bob) Larkowski; one sister-in-law, Rosie Carruth of Grand Island; brother-in-law, Carl Lewis; and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and other family members.

Sharon was preceded in death by her parents; four brothers, Elmer, Lloyd Jr., Leonard and Carl Carruth.; four sisters, Delores Salin, Ruby Hoffrichton, Bonnie Nilius and Laura Ellen Haumont; two step-sons, Robert and Brian Lammers; and other brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.
