Sharon Leetch, 58, of Grand Island died November 5, 2014 unexpectedly at her residence.

Sharon was born on August 26, 1956 in Grand Island to Eugene "Bill" and Dolores (Kudrna) Schleichardt. She grew up in Grand Island and attended Grand Island public schools.
She was united in marriage to Joel E. Leetch on July 3, 1973 in Grand Island. The couple lived in Grand Island. Sharon enjoyed painting, singing, gardening, Bingo and slot machines, rummage sales, and spending time with her family.

Sharon is survived by her husband: Joel E. Leetch of Grand Island; children: Joel (Janet) Leetch of Grand Island, Dee Dee (Travis) Thompson of Grand Island, Bobby J. (Amanda) Leetch of Grand Island, Tommy (Michelle) Leetch of Grand Island, Amber Leetch(Mike Starr) of Chapman; 20 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; siblings: Kenny (Nancy) Schommer of Grand Island, Judy Meston of Grand Island, Janice (Gary) Leetch of Hastings, and Billy Schleichardt of Grand Island.

She was preceded in death by parents: Eugene "Bill" and Dolores; and nephew: Terry Meston.

Funeral service will be at 10:30 AM Saturday, November 8, 2014 at Livingston-Sondermann Funeral Chapel with Pastor George Jones officiating. Burial will follow at the Grand Island City Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4-8 PM Friday at Livingston-Sondermann Funeral Home.
