Sheila Ann Loescher, 66, of Grand Island died Saturday, November 12, 2011 at St. Francis Medical Center.
A Celebration of Life will be at 11 am Saturday, December 3, 2011 at Livingston-Sondermann Funeral Home. Steve Shanno will officiate.
Memorials are suggested to the family.
Sheila was born on May 9, 1945 at Ord, Nebraska to DeLysle and Mavis (Schudel) Jeffres. She grew up in Central City and later moved to Scotia where she attended North Loup-Scotia High School.
Sheila worked for several years at St. Francis Skilled care. She was a very compassionate person and she loved caring for all her patients. She also loved spending time with her family and her beloved cats.
Survivors of the immediate family include two daughters, Michelle Meyers of Grand Island and Kelly Varia of Denver; her mother Mavis Jeffres of Grand Island; three sisters, Vicki Buckman, Kim Aldrich, and Lori Lewis all of Grand Island; and a brother, Jim Jeffres of Ogallala.
Also surviving are four grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her father DeLysle Jeffres, a sister Janie Worrell and an infant sister, Linda Jeffres.
