Timothy Newell, 65, of Grand Island, NE passed away Saturday, February 23, 2019 at home.

Memorial Service will be at 3:00 PM Friday, March 8, at Livingston-Sondermann Funeral Home in Grand Island, NE with Pastor Greg Volzke officiating.

He was born April 6, 1953 at Wichita, KS to Jack and JoAnn (Furse) Newell. He grew up in Topeka, KS and spent many summers with his family in Alma, NE and Phillipsburg, KS.

He was united in marriage to Marla Cottle on October 6, 1976 in Topeka, KS. On September 3, 1995 he married Rebekah Barnett in Salina, CO. To this union they had three sons, Jackson, Greyson, Garrison; and one daughter, Emily.

He is survived by his three sons.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother; and daughter Emily.
