Trinidad Carrasco Mileg, 88 of Grand Island passed away Sunday, March 5 21, 2017 at CHI-Health St. Francis Medical Center.

A Memorial Mass will be 10:30 AM, Friday at St. Mary's Cathedral Church with The Reverend James Golka as Celebrant. A Rosary will be at 10:00 AM before the service.

Trinidad was born on March 15, 1928 to Aurelio and Tomasita (Alocer) Carrasco at Falls City, TX. After that, she was raised in Floresville, TX.

She was united in marriage to Manuel Fierros Mileg on April 4, 1950 at Hondo, TX. After which they made their home in Texas, Colorado and Kansas before settling in Nebraska.

Trinidad is survived by her daughters, Sulema Schearer of CO, Soyla Burr of NE, Blanca Ayre of KS, Sylvia Mileg of NE, whom she raised since birth; sons, Raul Milecky of TX, and John Mileg of CO; brother, Tony Carrasco of TX; 19 grandchildren; and 40 great grandchildren; and several great great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband Manuel; her parents; 2 children; a great grandson; 3 sisters; and 2 brothers.
