Verda M. Spahr, 79, of Grand Island passed away Tuesday, August 27, 2019 at CHI Health St. Francis Medical Center in Grand Island.

A graveside service will be 10:00 AM Saturday, August 31, 2019 at Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery in Grand Island, NE with Pastor Bill Rowland officiating. A luncheon will follow at Beacon of Hope Church in Grand Island, NE.

She was born June 17, 1940 at Hebron, NE to Jack AE and Virginia M. (Menzies) Lillibridge. She grew up in Grand Island and attended Grand Island Senior High School.

Verda was united in marriage to Roger Spahr Sr. on April 6, 1961 at Grand Island, NE.She enjoyed horseback riding, fishing, camping, crocheting, and spending time with family.

She was a member of Eagles Auxillary.

Verda is survived by her daughter, Patricia Spahr; son, Roger Jr. and wife Kenda Spahr; grandkids, Valerie and Cole Pensick, Nathan and Brandi Vetick, Jeremy and Abigail Vetick, Dylan and Ashlea Vetick, Wendy Kaderly, Roger Spahr III and Leslie, Patrick Spahr, Jennifer and David West, Michael Spahr; great grandchildren; and great great-grandchildren; brother, Jack W. Lillibridge.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Jack AE and Virginia M. Lillibridge; infant brother, Buddy Ray.
