William J. Fay, 78, of Grand Island, died Tuesday, May 31, 2016 at Brookfield Park in St. Paul, NE.
William (Bill) was born August 1, 1937, to Hubert and Eva (Bell) Fay in Grand Island. He grew up on a farm north of St. Libory. He attended grade school in Howard County School District, and graduated from St. Paul High School in the class of 1955. After school Bill worked on the family farm until he began working at Kinman Chevrolet for over 10 years. Bill then worked at Leon Plastic for over 10 years, and then worked at Hornady more than 14 years until he retired in 1991.
Bill enjoyed living at Riverside for 18 years. He could be a prankster and liked to rearrange the letters on the Grill sign at Riverside. He also had a dry sense of humor and loved Diet Coke. He kept an eagle's eye on the stock market. He also enjoyed playing cards and jig saw puzzles.
Bill is survived by several cousins, and was preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral Service will be 2:00 PM Thursday, June 2, 2016 at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church with Father Todd Philipsen officiating. Burial will follow in the Grand Island City Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
